Dolphins Vs. Bengals Preview

This Thursday night on primetime television, the 3-0 Miami Dolphins face the 1-2 Cincinnati Bengals in the jungle. The Dolphins are coming off an impressive win against both the Ravens then the Bills, and the Bengals gave us a glimpse of the team they were last year playing against the lowly Jets. This game is an exciting matchup of two explosive offenses lead by the #1 pick, Joe Burrow, and the #5 pick, Tua Tagovailoa in the 2020 NFL Draft. Joe Burrow has had a rough start to the 2022 season and the dolphins will hope this continues on Thursday night. The Bengal's O-line have not done a good job protecting burrow thus far, and Josh Boyer the Miami DC will look to exploit that with sending heavy blitzes at him all game. The keys for the game for the dolphins to improve to 4-0 will be, heavy pressure on defense, sustain consistent drives on offense that not only score but take time off the clock, and of course take care of the football. My score prediction for the game is: Dolphins...

Dolphins Vs. Bill Game Review

The Miami Dolphins is now 3-0, and first in the AFC for the time being after a huge win against Buffalo this Sunday. What a game it was. If you were to show someone the box score of this game and asked them to guess the score and winner, they would have told you Buffalo by 3 touchdowns. Buffalo had the ball for 41 minutes on offense, ran 90 plays which was almost triple what the dolphins ran, had nearly 500 yards on offense just about doubling Miami's, yet the Miami Dolphins came out on top. This was thanks to almost perfect execution from the dolphin's offense when they needed it, going 3/3 in the redzone, but more importantly the defense making key stops every time they needed it most. The Bills were not at full strength this is undeniable, with of their most important defensive starters out, however their healthy offense was held to 17 offensive points with a defensive safety to give them 19 points total. The Bills were coming off dropping 30+ points week one, and 40+ week ...

Dolphins Vs. Bills Game Preview

The Miami Dolphins will host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. The Bills and dolphins both come into this game 2-0, meaning one team must lost their 0. The Bills are coming off of an extremely dominate win over the Titians, they look like the most complete team in the NFL at the moment. The Dolphins are coming off of an adversity game, a thrilling comeback which showed this team is not to be taken lightly. Considering Buffalo is most people's super bowl favorite, the dolphins have a very tough game ahead of themselves. As a fan I would obviously absolutely love a win, but my biggest need is for this team to look competitive and look like a playoff team. This gives the Fins a huge opportunity to prove themselves as a real threat to the rest of the league, and hopefully they cease the moment. Sunday can't come soon enough. Score prediction: 38-35 Dolphins

Dolphins Vs. Ravens Game Review

Oh my, what a game the dolphins had themselves on Sunday. Through the first half dolphins' fans were hanging their heads thinking, "Another year of false expectations", to jumping and cheering in the fourth quarter as we watched out team look like a super bowl contender. After getting beaten up most of the game with a couple bright spots the first three quarters, Tua Tagovailoa and his receivers, Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill caught fire. Tua threw 4 touchdowns in the 4th, netting him a total of 6 touchdowns for the game. This tied the franchise record held by Dan Marino and Bob Greise. Not only did the offense start making plays, but the defense suddenly woke up once the offense got going. The defense mad a crucial 4th down stop in the 4th, forcing multiple 3 and outs to get the ball back, and holding the ravens to only a field goal on their final drive. This game truly had it all and have given fans a glimpse at how much potential this team has going forward. Dolphins...

Player Spotlight: Tua Tagovailoa

Tua Tagovailoa is now in his third year as the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Tua happens to be one of the most polarizing players in the NFL at the moment, constantly being scrutinized and criticized more than any other player it seems. There is most definitely a mixed review for him so far, many love his potential and think this is the year, others think he is not the answer for the dolphins at quarterback for the future. Personally, I am a big fan of Tua, and after hearing how well he played in camp this offseason, I think this is the year he shows the world he is a franchise QB. Tua started off the year throwing for 270 yards and touch down in the opener against the patriots. Tua did not look perfect this game and yet he still had a very respectable stat line. The offense finally seems to have some aggression and creativity which is a breath of relief after watching this offense last year. I except Tua to throw for 3,300 yards and 28 touchdowns this season, and finally pu...

Preview of week 2

The dolphins are 1-0 entering week two, in hopes to make it 2-0 against the ravens. The Ravens have seemed to have had the dolphin's number in previous matchups in the last couple years, but last year the dolphins revived their dying season with a win against Lamar Jackson and company. The defense last year had maybe their best game of the season, throwing different all-out blitz combinations at Lamar and it seemed to have him stumped. Many other dolphins' fans and I hope that the Defensive coordinator, Josh Boyer, is going to emulate that sort of game plan yet again to have some of that same success and secure the win. The Ravens are also 1-0 coming into week two with their first win coming against the lowly jets. I predicted a more well-polished offensive game from the dolphins, putting up 4 at least 4 touchdowns. Final score prediction: 31-24 Dolphins.

Week one post game analysis

NFL week one has come and gone for the Miami dolphins. They kicked off against the patriots in Miami at 1:00 this afternoon, and around 3 hours later the Miami dolphins were 1-0. The game ended with a score of 20-7, the dolphins took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The defense picked up right where they left off last year picking off Mac jones in the endzone on the first drive of the game. The dolphin defense would make the patriots cough up 2 more turnovers, a strip sack for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter, and a game sealing fumble recovery late in the game. With that being said the defense looked great, the offense however, left some to be desired. I would like to chalk it up to shaking off some offseason rust because they didn't look terrible, but unfortunately it wasn't what every fan was hoping for. Tyreek Hill had a respectable stat line of 8 catches for 94 yards, and Tua with his best stat line against the patriots throwing for 270 yards and a tou...

Pre week 1 Player Spotlight

The dawn of the Miami Dolphins season is upon us and in 5 days NFL football will have begun. Since there has not been a game to talk about yet, we can talk about one of the dolphins' new acquisitions that I think will have a huge impact on game one but also the whole season. This player is none other than Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill was just named the 15th best player in the most recent NFL top 100, and oh boy is he just what the dolphins needed last year. Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the game and almost undisputedly the fastest player in the NFL. Hill is instant offense and can give this dolphins offense the spark it needs to be one of the best in the league. One of the best parts about Hills game is that he does not need to catch the ball to have a big impact, his sheer presence and ability to take the top off the defense at any given moment forces defenses to respect the deep shot which could open up the run game for example. Hill will also draw the opposing te...

Preview of Week 1

As week 1 of the NFL draws closer, we can take a preview of the dolphins first matchup against the patriots. The Dolphins will be hosting the patriots in Miami Gardens where they have had quite the bit of recent success against Bill Belichick and company. Even when Tom Brady was still on the patriots the dolphins always managed to steal a game at home. Since Tua has been starting he is 3-0 against the patriots and I see him improving his record to 4 wins. The Patriots haven't made any huge notable improvements from last year, and considering the dolphins were able to sweep them last year, I think they secure the win at home week one. I'm expecting the dolphins to come out firing taking deep shots down the field to Tyreek Hill and really get the Mike McDaniel run game going as well. My score prediction is 28-17 dolphins, Tua throws for 250 yards 2 TDs, Edmound's and Mostert both with a TD of their own.

Miami's 53-man roster

With the first game of the season only 10 days away, the Dolphins have recently finished making their roaster cuts to have their initial 53-man roster for the season. Most of the cuts were expected, but a few came with a bit of a surprise. One cut that didn't come at too much of a surprise, but I personally wish he made the roster was RB Za 'Quandre white. The former Gamecock running back was having an impressive training camp as an undrafted back, and even scored a touchdown in the final preseason game against the eagles. However, two cuts that came at more of surprise were OL Solomon Kindley, and WR Lynn Bowden Jr. Kindly was a young talent who played very solidly his first year with Miami. Kindley had injury trouble which must have led a part in his release. Lynn Bowden was a former 3rd round pick, a QB turned WR. Bowden proved to be a nice gadget player with good hands in his last season with the dolphins, but with the new addition of players like, Tyreek Hill, Cedrick Wil...
